Adrenal tissue with licorice and other nutrients

AdrenaCort supplies a complex of factors that support the function of the adrenal glands, particularly the adrenal cortex. Licorice contains compounds with mineralocorticoid activity which reduce the catabolism of glucocorticoids, thus extending their life and activity in the body. Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) and vitamin C are critically important for adrenocortical steroid synthesis. Bioflavonoids are antioxidants with an ascorbic acid-conserving effect that extends the life of adrenal medullary hormones such as epinephrine in the blood.
